Black is given one match to catch up for a draw (https://lichess.org/variant/racingKings).

@thegreatplayer2010 To be fair, if you don't know the drawing rule, you'd think it doesn't matter.

The rule is that if your opponent can also go to the 8th rank, it will be draw

#4 No Because Racing Kings would be unfair if that was the rules because since white gets first move, if both players just blocked off everything from opponents pieces and both players played the exact same moves, white would obviously win so in a situation where both black and white can go to the 8th rank and it was whites turn since white would go first white would win IF they hadn't added the rule that if white gets to the 8th rank and black goes to the 8th rank 1 move after it would be a draw.

(Sorry if this makes no sense at all :P)

@ChesstasticDude007 the one with higher rating points will lose rating points if they draw. If you have the same rating 0 points will be awarded or taken. But in some such cases (like a titled player or someone you have frequently played with) 1-5 rating points may be given or taken
