Yes and no as well!
If I was 12 of age, Blak would come to my mind but now if anyone says 'nothing' then I just think of pure water at 4ºC.

Maybe a empty vacuum like space but without any of the extraterrestrial stuff (Debris, Stars, Planets etc...)

In photo editing programs, full transparency is effectively nothing even if you can see a checkerboard that represents that there's nothing.
In real life, you can't see stuff like air as it's transparent so that is also effectively nothing color-wise.
Although some define nothing as no light because light is essentially what we see in general. In which case I guess it could be simulated by a completely dark space where we see black.
