"If you think an opening is bad, Check if top guys are playing it.? Are they playing it repeatedly? Do they win repeatedly? Yes? You can trust them, they are not playing bad on purpose"

When you use your own brain, you will discover things that are practically very hard for your opponent and easier for you! The things you will discover are far more important than you win or lose. Do you know that in Computer Chess Championship, White IS PURPOSEFULLY given odds?
That means they forced Etheral to play a bad line.....

The first 5-8 moves are human theorie moves.
I have been following engine championships for the past 5 years, since I started playing chess.

That's not because a move is theory that it's good. That line is indeed dubious and it's theory.
