How can such an industrious and optimistic people at their dawn of leadership of the human race not yet have made a star trek?
You see, your basic star trek is a prerequisite for any global superpower. I mean, if a civilization can't show a compelling vision of where they plan to be in 500 years and how they hope to conduct themselves amongst the stars then what the point?
Its not that hard. Just get a dashing young chinese dude to play the captain of a ship with a chinese name (how about the USS Jade Monkey?), some hot scientist chicks, a couple of those high IQ logical nerd types your people are famous for. Dress them in chinese pyjamas and stick some stuff to their heads and you're good to warp. You simply draw upon the literature of your own civilization but transpose the stories to a space setting. E.g. It could just be Captain Monkey on a 'Journey to the Western Spiral Arm'. Pigsy is basically a tellerite anyway.
So my question for you is this. Could you please get in touch with Xi Jinping and tell him to get on a conference call with David Ellison, Trump and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (he wants to bankroll the whole project and has this dream of an Islamic star trek for the unification of the muslim world) to talk about making a Sino Star Trek. If he says no, tell him MercuryTrismegistus sent you.
