How does leaving on the middle of games work?

My question is : is it an offense to leave in the middle of causal games?

I think it is disrespectful. Resign the game. Leaving and forcing your opponent to waste time and may result in a temporary ban.

Are you talking about leaving and letting the clock run down, or leaving with resigning?

Depends on the opening played and what has been said in chat up until that point.

If that happens to me, in case of wasting my time: I will report explicitly. It‘s up to lichess to take measures.

there is no waste of time bcs you can start a new game when is not your turn

I just block them, and so did I with people thinking its ok.
