My dad passed away early this morning after some time of suffering. We weren't as close as some father and sons, but after a turbulent childhood and early adulthood, we repaired our relationship, and he knew I loved him. He made me tough. He taught me how to play chess, one of my favorite past times. I encourage all who may not see eye to eye with their pop, to appreciate them for the things they taught you. RIP JC
