LFT 960 Round-Robins

Hello everyone! The second Qualifier for the Elite Round-Robin is set to begin October second! This tournament is a 60+30 time control Chess960 event.

Rules: Two 60+30 Round-robins, both with half of the players split to be relatively equivalent in level by ratings. The event automatically closes entry if we reach 12 total players, or on Thursday October 2nd. Each round of the Round-Robin has one week for the players to play a 60+30 Chess960 game with set colors. Tie-breaks are Wins against tied opponents,

Seedings will use Standard classical ratings, The top two players from each Round-Robin will qualify for a four player Round-Robin deciding the title.

The highest placing unqualified player after all other qualifiers qualifies for the Elite Round-Robin, The other spots are

  1. Dude128 (LFT Knockout winner)
  2. The top four players in the current Elite Round-Robin

Depending on player count the event could take between 6 and 8 weeks,

For the group stage, you may play your games in any order. However you must finish both games in two weeks. (Before October 16th)
