Why they’re entirely deleted?
The atomic variant arenas are now mainly bullet speed which, whilst exciting, does not allow for any sort of improvement in ability. Whilst I appreciate some changes to the arena time controls, the latest updates we have seen do seem a little excessive.
The same is true for the Horde arenas. These are now mainly bullet, and hyper bullet arenas. Sometimes bullet with two second increment. I find it unpleasant to play at these speeds so I just don’t do it.

yes but there are 3+2 arenas now which technically can take longer time per game than a non-incremented 5+0 arena, it's also the standard for shields for most variants. You also guarantee not getting flagged unless you disconnect or something, so in general I think it's better.
5+0 gives the time but doesn't let you relax)
2:30 with bers is better than 1:30)
