It's not of experience, it's for help. Maybe some foolish people's would be only donating for having that patron icon but the main thing seen is your help. Nothing new, just your contribution and a small step towards the development of Lichess society!

lichess.org/features clearly says that the features for a patron and normal account are the same. If you want premium features, lichess isn't the place for you.
