Left the game in a split second

I just lost this bullet game

https://lichess.org/yfWiQv81dSnn
In a completely winning position the game ended only a split second after the last move of my opponent, declaring that I had left the game (also giving me a warning about this). I didn't even leave the game-site (which shouldn't lead to a loss of the game immediately as well), the only thing I can remember doing was a click below the board. Any ideas how this happened? I have played thousands of games and never saw something like this.

0.97s? Split second is right!

What happend was simply you got disconnected on your side your saw his clock ticking down while in reility it was your clocked that ticked for 25.31secs which was enough to let your oppeant claim that you were not there and win
you should have seen a read reconnecting box in the bottom left (does not always work because disconnection is hard to detect with out mass pings to lichess)

No, I have experienced the situation you describe a lot of times and wouldn't have complained. In this case I made my move and less than a second later lost. That's why it felt strange enough to open a thread.

You made your move while you were disconnected
Meaning when you played the move it got sent to lichess and then you got sent the updated board that you lost on time or your move took longer than 3secs to get to lichess as it starts counting when lichess sends you the move and not when you receive it

It was a bullet game. None of this was taking as long as 3 seconds. Opponent moves, I move, game lost, all in the blink of an eye. Really, I know the normal way of losing games by a disconnect, this was not one of these situations.

ok imissed read the time in #3
but still you must have disconnected even for a second or less

how disconnect time work is you get x time for the game based on the length since its bullet its very little
and that time is for the whole game lets say 20seconds
you used 19.04 on other moves where you may have disconnected to short to see but still enough to use your time
then the last move it took a second

if this is not the case
then we would have to recreate and reproduce the issue
which is hard since we cant just do bullet games
as alot of those are done a day and others would have the same issue removing just bullet from the equation and all other game where you run low on time meaning its not tine control or game based
but then what device and browser is also rolled out because disconnect time is server side else

meaning its either your connection causing brief disconnects or something that i cant think of from my limited knowledge
meaning

The game felt quite smooth and my connection didn't do this in any game from at least this device earlier, but I can't exclude your explanation completely obv. If there are no further cases, it's fine, let's hope so...
