I don't mean to sound rude, but should we just be like the rook in this game? Basically, be on useless lookout, sit back, relax, and enjoy, until the time comes. I mean, speaking therapeutically—err... psychologically (sorry about that), when we have a task that seems like it will never occur, but we prepare anyway, and when it finally occurs, we don't rush things and blunder anymore. If we apply that same rule to chess, will we have to predict the game, assume it'll happen, and put the piece that might be useful later on? Just asking (:

Actually, I agree with you. If you do something too early, you might not have the confidence or power (in this game as the rook-ability) to do anything. But if you come out too late, you may not fit in anywhere. Thanks for sharing our opinion with us!

IM doesn't know how to use lichess studies. Create a single chapter for all the annotations not just random chapters adding 1 move lol.

My intention wasn’t to have readers navigate the study to follow the game. The full analysis is in the blog post itself. I only created separate chapters for the critical moments I wanted to reference directly, so readers could jump to those positions without seeing future moves. A single‐chapter study would reveal later moves and make those links awkward as it would show the following moves, which viewers don't need to see until we get to those. The study wasn’t meant to add any extra content, just to streamline the blog experience.
