Got a question for the candidates? Lichess will do pre-event interviews with Fabiano Caruana, Wei Yi, Javokhir Sindarov, Matthias Bluebaum, Tan Zhongyi and Vaishali R! Share your questions in the replies, and some might make it to the interviews!
If possible please specify who your question is for, or if it's for all players.
Who will have the biggest upset compared to others expectation.

Do you sometimes get nervous when you're facing a specific player or do you get kind of excited?

How do you win games at a high level?
Objectively, 2600 rated player can make a draw with 2750. Especially if 2600 plays white.

If you would only play in open tournaments, what Fide rating would you have? (stop playing in closed round robins where you can’t lose Fide rating)

- Sindarov: How do you Balance your Chess Training in percentage (Calculation, Opening, Endgame, Strategy)?
- Sindarov: What would you recommend for a 2100 Fide Rated Junior to reach FM?
Play your openings. Learn them perfectly. Learn strategies and endgames that come from your opening. Do lots of long tactics 5+ moves.
But don’t play some weird lines, go for main ones. Learn 2 variations: 1 solid to defend against strong players and the other one to beat lower rated player then you.
And of course, play in classical tournaments a lot.
I’m a FM with rating of 2370, you can trust me.
