It's pretty terrible really , have I been playing too much?

Just won a game , which was nice, went out on the balcony for a smoke and sat there and couldn't remember the game ,how I'd won or my last move to win ,was completely blank , that's pretty terrible really , ain't it? , does this happen to any of you? xxx

No, I don't smoke. :-) But seriously, I often have the opposite problem: how to stop thinking about the game I played.

Well if you're thinking about a win happy days ,thinking about a loss not so much fun and best just to say to your mind forget it only a game but I know how you feel there's this one game I blew from 3 years ago against higher rated player ,still bugs me to this day it's far worse to miss an opportunity but that's why you gotta enjoy the victories yeah? xxx

Is remembering perhaps easier for a 30+0 game than it would be for a 10+0 game?

Sure, that definitely plays a role. When you spend a whole evening or afternoon playing one 45+45 or 90+30 game, it tends to stick much better than if it was just one of ten 10+0 or twenty 5+0 games.

As in physical stamina, I believe in mental stamina too.
After a long, exhausting match, I have motivation to play, but simply I lack energy and focus.
Compared to soccer, I have motivation to play another match, but my body can't follow.
From a chess perspective, this is especially visible in my bullet games. When I notice it, I call it a day.

same, I don't remember my own games if I don't analyze them immediately. and yet I manage to remember certain great classics or even games consulted on the forums. Regarding mine, I can sometimes succeed in mentally visualizing the position but I get confused in the order of the moves. I don't think this is a problem, but my reasons are that I have little respect for my own games and that I consider that there is always something which means that I did not deserve to win this game or that I should have lost earlier.

I can't recall anything from any of my games, ever
....even my best checkmates vanish like a fart in the wind
