it's crazy that they go after noz while letting a million other cheaters run rampant. Someone could literally create a new account, play top engine moves every time, get reported and nothing is done about it yet someone who has played for years and have consistently demonstrated exceptional atomic skill is banned ? I would say this ban is more of a loss to the atomic community than to noz himself. I know lichess has a policy of not releasing evidence against a cheater in order not to give other cheaters insight into how their cheat detection works,but I feel like in high profile cases like this an exception ought to be made. otherwise this undermines the credibility of the whole cheat detection process and lichess moderation team.

Whether famous or not, anyone who doesn't abide by the rules that apply to everyone and are generally known must face the consequences of their misconduct. No exceptions and zero tolerance for those who don't comply. Only in this way can we play chess online under fair conditions.

I've known NoZ for a long time, and I do firmly believe that he is not a cheater. The main reason I believe this is because a lot of what I know from high level Atomic (especially scamming) I learned from him, and if he really were just a cheater he wouldn't have had such a great understanding that he could teach it to me to a certain extent. No matter what anyone claims, I know that he is not a cheater.
That being said, I sadly have to admit that his ban for boosting is very much legit, the games that very likely got him banned are in a study I created yesterday for anyone curious. He was an exceptional player, and I don't want him to be falsely remembered as a cheater but just as a bored idiot who couldn't think of anything better to kill his boredom than to break the tos in the most stupid way possible.
To be honest, I don‘t knew NeverofZero, or Noz from Atomic gameplay, in case of, that I got paired against him sometimes in Antichess areas.
There, I hadn’t the feeling, that he could cheat or do anything like this.
I don‘t believe, that he had cheat.
What you think about the situation honestly doesn't matter. :p Let's see if noz will get out of his "kek" phase and appeal first.
