Embed study chapter doesn't appear in Moodle

I try to embed a study chapter on a Moodle site, but it doesn't render the graphics, all I can see is just texts instead of board. What I tried so far:

  • Tried other iframes on the Moodle site - they work as expected.
  • Tried the iframe code of the lichess study chapter on (a) a local html file (b) a personal website - both worked as expected
  • Tried different browsers (Firefox and Chrome), they were the same
  • Tried to change the study visibility from unlisted to public, nothing changed
  • Tried to refresh the browser, deleted cache between any changes, etc.
  • Right-click on the are where the board should be renderred, "show this frame only" - the board and pieces appear in the new window.

I can't even decide if it's a Moodle thing or something with Lichess. Can it be an issue if the iframe is on a page which is on a password-protected site?

Sounds like you've already discovered that it is a Moodle thing.

Yes. It turned out, that a wysiwyg editor in moodle automatically put a "sandbox" attribute to the iframe tag.
