US Chess Championships

Now that things are smoothed over with St. Louis Chess, will lichess broadcast the US Championships this year?

Unfortunate, but understood. Thanks for the response.

Does the lack of a lichess broadcast divert viewers to a stream where US Chess gets ad money? If so, then the boycott is counterproductive.

At this point the boycott just seems like petty, childish anger. It definitely pushes me to watch it on a rival website. Lichess loses here.

A boycott? That’s just pathetic. We want to follow, please share games.

I don’t really understand the boycott. Did those two GMs actually face any legal penalties, or are these just allegations? Allegations from eight different people could definitely mean something, but I’m not really sure about the Uzbek guy.

Such a pathetic and senseless boycott... made a mountain out of a molehill

I'd call it rather the opposite: a drop in the bucket.

Yet what is any ocean but a multitude of drops?
