Riddle 5: 1.f3 e5 2.Kf2 Bc5 3.Kg3 Qf6 4.Kg4 d5(or d6 or Qf4) 5.Kh5 g6#
Yes this works too!
Nice work!

Amazing article, many worth sharing in my circle
The color guess looks incorrect
it's impossible for white bishop be on a8 if creating a game from standard position
Actually it might be possible. For instance, white's b6 pawn could have captured on a7 and could have underpromoted to a bishop.

Thank you so much for those entertaining riddles.

I do remember one too:
After first moves 1.e4 e5
white did checkmate black 2 moves later (on 3th move in total)
How did the game go?

You are welcome!
Are there any other details that you remember, so that it'd be more helpful to sort the riddle?
:)

Haha, yeah how I forgot that's to theme in most of these fun puzzles, some strange placement of piece is because of a pawn conversion

I think for riddle 2 there is another solution

  1. d4 d5 2. Qd3 Qd6 3. Qf5 Qf4 4. Qxc8#

Very, Very Nice blog! thank you so much!!
Therefore there are some interesting ideas about you puzzles:

The first one is well-known and have 92 solutions! http://www.datagenetics.com/blog/august42012/ here are all the solutions

On the second one, there is another solution, which is to play 3.Qf5 instead of 3.Qh3

I dint know the third one, so i searched it and found an other solution before looking at yours: 1. Nf3 f6 2. Nh4 Kf7 3. Ng6 e6 4. b3 Qe8 5. Ba3 a6 6. Nxh8#

There is a solution one move quicklier for the next one: 1. h4 Nf6 2. Rh3 Ng8 3. Rg3 Nf6 4. Rg6 hxg6 5. h5 Ng8 6. h6 Nf6 7. h7 Rg8 8. h8=R Nc6 9. Rh1 Rh8 10. Rh2 Ng8 11. Rh1 Nb8

There is lot of solutions for the next one, one of theme is this: 1. f3 e5 2. Kf2 Nh6 3. Kg3 f6 4. Kh4 f5+ 5. Kh5 g6#
Therefore, there is a more interesting puzzle with the same idea but with the white king on h4 instead of h5:

  1. f3 e5 2. Kf2 Qf6 3. Kg3 Qxf3+ 4. Kh4 Be7# or 1...e6 with the same continuation.

The next one is (for me) more art of chess than a riddle

This is also a well-known position composed by Sam Loyd, which is also (for me) more art of chess than a riddle

For the next one i can do the same comment as above, i knew the solution when the black queen goes to a5 and the bishop to h4, but i guess its the same thing.

The next is a nice one, i really enjoyed trying to solve it, i found the solution in 2 minutes

i known the next one, but a thing that always bothered me, is that black cannot castle in the solution. But its still a very nice puzzle

The next one is too hard as a riddle for me so i think the probleme should be showed with the solution

The next one is perfect, nothing to say.

I liked the next one, im pretty satisfied about that i found it in 10 sec

The next one is not so beautiful, but still a funny idea of the composer

The next one is probably one of the most beautiful puzzles in your blog. I found it in 3 minutes, enjoyed it enormously.

The next one is also very good, one time i composed one with how many mate in 1, but i think your puzzle is better.

I really liked the next one, very nice puzzle

I knew the next one, its an amazing puzzle!

The last is (in my opinion) the best of all. Its hard to search it, but the solution is beautiful!

Thank you so much for this blog, i demand a part 2!!

Firsty, my sincere thanks for your valuable time in sharing your thoughts.
It must have taken a while to write such a lengthy note. Much appreciated once again!
Secondly, your solutions are amazing as well.
And lastly, hopefully once I compile something similar, there will be a PART 2 for sure!
