I had met him once at a club simul... really nice, and rest in peace. From this we learn to appreciate people in the chess community and their contributions, this is god's way of telling us that.

guys i researched this and it says that danya is still alive.. he was found unresponsive on october 19th because of "drug overdose" but he is still alive
