The idea of the Lichess-Quarantäne-Liga was born one year ago, when @Satscho created the first Bavarian Quarantäne-Arena: https://lichess.org/tournament/QTtwcCvA The day after that, the first German speaking team battle was created: https://lichess.org/tournament/AKX9Yvzd Soon afterwards more and more teams joined and international teams requested to join the team battles as well. After one year, we now have a mix of international teams, local chess clubs, Senior teams, Women teams, junior teams, Discord Servers, including top players like even World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, who played two games in the League a week ago, as well as beginners, who can connect to the chess world by finding a team and socialize with other chess players, counting more than 6000+ registered players and 500+ teams in all 53 leagues today.
I would like to thank @Lichess very much for all the possibilites that tournament organizers have on the platform, as well as to the whole Lichess team and @Nojoke for considering it to be the official Lichess league for 5 months now ( https://lichess.org/blog/X4da-RAAACQAa50f/announcing-the-lichess-bundesliga ). It has been a great journey to get to know so many chess friends from all over the world and looking forward to the next year of Lichess-Quarantäne-Liga. Thanks for all the support throughout the year to @Ensemo , @endicraft , @Lance5500, thanks to all the active streamers like @Nadeesh and @Kiezking for example who streamed the whole year for example, as well as to all the active team captains who put a lot of time and energy to activate and to report to their team members about the League like @DanijelDimovski , @miromiljkovic , @Ihsan_Kilic , @Ali-GMH, @TheFinnisher and many more :-)

Happy Anniversary to the Lichess Quarantane Liga , where we all had a continuous place to fight severally and honorably between some of the most strong and competitive teams in Lichess, I personally was/am/will be always exited and motivated to play in this amazing league and always looking for the next one.
The Liga showed us inderectly that it was more than a place where we all got together to have fun with friends and enjoy some time together... It is almost like a 5star Hotel in Vegas where the hotel is the Quarantane Liga and Vegas is Lichess or like a DisneyLand in Paris where the liga is Disneyland and Paris is Lichess (lol)
Lastly i wanna thank the man in person @jeffforever who without him , there will be no DisneyLand :( and i wish him all the best in the amazing Lichess Quarantane Liga!
