How does it get all the money and why do they pay youtubers and make them millionaires lol while i am playing chess and losing here wasting my day

The ads that they run pay for most of the money, And the subscriptions help pay for the rest. It’s important to note that even a video with millions of views (which is significantly more than the average video) only makes around a thousand dollars. That’s why even huge YouTubers will get sponsors to pay for the videos. These are other separate companies who pay for an advert in someone’s video for a minute or so. Honestly, YouTube really doesn’t pay much unless you’re really big or have sponsors. In fact, you can’t even earn money until you have 1000+ subscribers, which is more than probably 90% of all accounts.

Youtube depends on people who share stuff there.The more people watch youtube,the more yutube makes.Youtubers who make videos that a lot of people watch makes youtube make more money.Thats their cut.Youtube needs them.They are youtubes best employees.
