The WCM title didn't even exist back than. That there are less women playing chess is because of lack of interests, not because (y? People like you push us down from the time we start. I get that some other people could have gotten it conditionally, making the title feel fake. But this exists for every title. But how would you know? )

I get your point, to some extent. I might not be a grandmaster but I fit the requirements for the title. I can buy and display how I want and whatever. Look, it is frustrating for the majority who can’t get a title at 2000 fide. But 2000 fide is almost 2200 uscf in my country, which achieves a big title in the uscf system called national master. I was 2135 when I crossed 2000 fide, almost achieving this milestone. As the majority of 2200 uscfs are 2000 fide, and even less. I might have overreacted, posting many comments about this. I apologize on my behalf. But the wisest course of action would be to ignore my title as WCM is not a fake title. It is an official fide title. The only people who would get it the ‘fake way’ are SOME of the people who win events and get the title at 200 to even 400 points lower than 2000. Despite this, some of these people play very strong events to earn the title like my friend, as she did well in a difficult event to get the title, an event I preformed bad at a year later. I went on many trips outside of my country just to reach 2000, not for the title. It is a bonus I would buy again, and again and again for any title. My title is not fake as it is at a milestone I put much in effort to reach. People who aren’t even 2000 in their country do not get to call it fake, until they understand the true difficulty of reaching 2200, which by the way is only achieved by 1% of chess players. Actually, many families, including mine do not introduce their daughters to chess as they “will not become good” I only found out about this game because my brother told my dad to give his daughter a chance. I believe there are many girls who could of became prodigies and professionals if they were given this opportunity at a very young age. Even the Polagar sisters had to face their communist country and they had to homeschool, which was very difficult in Hungary and only play in their country and Eastern Europe. It wasn’t until Susan became the #1 woman in the world at chess that they were allowed to go to Western Europe. Imagine if they hadn’t fought for us? Girls would still not be able to play with men, therefore they would not be given equal chances. Even to this day, culture is still followed, and very few girls still play chess. Culture is the main reason. Interest is a much smaller fraction. That is why out of such few, reaching 2000 is rare. It is already very close or even past another title. End of discussion. WCM is a fair title. WCM was made in 2002, after women could play with men. One could argue it was as a first step for women who were going to earn many titles in the future! And you know what did not exist back in the day? The GM and IM titles, too. Less women play chess because they don’t get a chance. U know it yourself. Ask anyone. FIDE used to think women suck, but now let them play with men. Women titles are there simply because FIDE is trying to fix this gap and motivate women to play chess. They are also letting the women feel special. This title can be a milestone, but I will have a new one soon. Everyone else here are your elders, don’t argue with someone better than you at chess about discrimination in front of your elders, okay? Doesn’t make you look good.

This is my final comment about this then we should keep all these next comments on topic. I don’t think this way the guy’s intent either. About respecting our elders, a way we could respect him is to stop arguing and praise his blog instead. Wouldn’t want to make him close it over a useless argument.
