NEW Feature request: Let winners in arenas top3 be able to accept trophy or not

no i won't see an issue with that if that was the choice of the players above them..

the issue is the third last person could receive 1st trophy, second last 2nd trophy, last place 3rd trophy, while potentially losing all their games, so why bother with trophies since anyone could get one?

There's a real problem here related to trophy transfer. When someone gets banned in a marathon, the players move up a position. Someone who was 501st now ranks 500th, but they don't get a globe in their profile. And you're talking about a much more complex system: the winner stays first, but gives up the trophy. Frankly, this is just plain stupid.
