I know a mating pattern but sometimes I get confused with it ... So does anybody know an easy variation to mate with a knight and bishop

@Ojasya5678 You can't mate with Knight and Bishop. But you can if you have a King too.

@Statistica I tried lichess practise but I can't find it much helpful..

Learn the W maneuver with the knight its easier than the triangle technique, you can find videos on youtube. Also its not a big of a deal if you don't learn it at all , i've never gotten king vs king knight and bishop ever.

Well, in an open a player claimed a draw having only a king against a king, knight and bishop. The arbiter asked what the reason could be to claim a draw here. "Oh well, my opponent will not manage to mate me - spare us the time". Of course the arbiter refused this and so 50 moves later the opponent hasn't managed to mate, in fact he was never even near to do so. It was really kind of embrassing for him.
Yes, it is not often that you need to win with this constellation. But i really would like to avoid this happening to me. So for me I decided it is worth to be able to win this....

With that said, it's really rare to occur- if you're beginner simply no reason to study it, if you're advanced and would like to so when finally the time will arrive you don't blow if off.. study technique and practice it several times. GL

Try it yourself. It's not that hard. Try it against sotockfish and it will soon work.
