I play white only. But that's cause I like the white pawns.
I don't think that's a crime since i have the option to choose the pieces at my own game.
Now about blocking ..I don't block those who win me unless i sense that they're using the delay of their suspiciously low internet connection (that lichess compensates for) in order to beat me.
That is cheating in my book and I don't like to play cheaters.

@MKLDC75ORE4777 I think what you do is completely fine. Nobody has to tell you how, when and with witch color you have to play. Also you can block someone if you don't like them or the way they behaved (takebacks, draws, dirtyflags) it doesn't even have to be some sort of cheating. I don't get what this whole thread is for to be honest...

@beatingidiots Happy to give you an explanation buddy... I honestly don't remember our game as i play way too many everyday but the reason I blocked you might be that I found your username a little offensive and slightly insulting.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "right now" - indeed, actually after reading your post.
I am not looking at my opponents whether they select color when I face them.
I use quick pairings, no special seeks. And I dont block anyone at all. :-)

Yeah, playing with only white would never improve your chess.
In tournaments u don't usually get to pick which side you are on.

Also the people who block people only because they lose may have temper issues or may be drunk.
