Well if it's title verification, you need to be titled. If you're asking about the tick mark, then you need to be famous.
Lichess verifies accounts if it feels the need to clearly signify and distinguish them from other name-mimicking accounts. "Fame" is an aspect but by far not every famous person needs to be verified.
