April 2026 Atomic Unique Openings Quads Registration

Due to an abundance of interest in the 2026 Atomic Openings Championship, @Mr-Best and I are hosting quads for the month of April with similar rules!

Quads are small, mini-tournaments consisting of four players grouped by similar rating, where everyone plays each other once in a three-round, round-robin format.

Matches will consist of 10 casual atomic 3+1 games. (or rated, if both players agree)
Both players get 5 games as White, and must choose a different starting move every time they are White. If the match is tied 5-5 after 10 games, the match will be considered a draw.

To sign up, you must post "I'm in" on this forum. By doing this, you are agreeing to be available to play 3 10-game matches between April 9 and April 30.

Players have until April 8 to sign up, with the quads being announced on the 9th.

This is meant to be a friendly event and a chance to try openings you otherwise wouldn't normally play.

If you have any questions, please message myself or @Mr-Best.
