In the interest of making this world championship more interesting, I had this idea in mind to have the three zh YouTubers (Atrophied, crosky, and JannLee) kibitz on specific matches. (Apparently, great minds think alike: https://en.lichess.org/forum/team-crazyhouse-world-championship/youtube-coverage)
If these three YouTubers approve, I'd like to propose the following schedule:
Kibitzing by Atrophied:
JannLee vs. crosky
TwelveTeen vs. penguingim1
eekarf vs. saturos (tentative; chewythechewer has till tomorrow midnight to respond)
Kibitzing by JannLee:
allyouneedisluft vs. Bugzilla
mastertan vs. B0N0B0
chickencrossroad vs. sexy_and_i_know_it
Kibitzing by crosky (I gave him two because he's not as active):
xuanet vs. Atrophied
opperwezen vs. blitzbullet
Happy to do this if my schedule allows for it.
If y'all don't mind my highly unpolished recordings, I could probably do this--provided, of course, I'm available whenever the indicated matches are scheduled.
We should definitely get a professional streamer on board to cover the Final (and "Candidates" rounds?), though.
Nice idea crosky. If I'm available at the times of the matches I'll support this initiative and kibitz on these matches.
@Atrophied
"crosky vs. JannLee
2pm EST / 7pm GMT / 6am Sydney on Sat 25th/Sun 26th"
Does this suit you?
@JannLee
"Bugzilla vs. allyouneedisluft match will take place February 20th at 6:00 a.m. GMT"
Does this suit you?
@JannLee
"sexy_and_i_know_it FischyVishy - Last Tuesday at 8:13 PM
Our match will be played:
Sunday Feb 26th 6PM GMT Sunday (1 PM Eastern Time)"
Does this suit you?
xuanet vs. Atrophied
opperwezen vs. blitzbullet
when are these matches?
i have no deal yet.
@crosky No response as of yet.
@crosky @JannLee The times for "JannLee vs. crosky
TwelveTeen vs. penguingim1
eekarf vs. saturos" are not at all convenient for Atrophied. Can any of you guys switch?
Here are the times so far:
1) JannLee vs. crosky 2pm EST / 7pm GMT / 6am Sydney on Sat 25th/Sun 26th
2) allyouneedisluft vs. Bugzilla February 20th at 6:00 a.m. GMT
3) TwelveTeen vs. penguingim1 Monday 5 PM PT
4) eekarf vs. saturos Sunday 1PM CEST
5) chickencrossroad vs. sexy_and_i_know_it Sunday Feb 26th 6PM GMT Sunday (1 PM Eastern Time)
6) xuanet vs. Atrophied Sunday the 26th at 4PM EST
7) opperwezen vs. blitzbullet Wed 1:00 pm est
If I'm not mistaken JannLee is intending to stream or record all of his WCC matches anyway, so, while it would be nice, it's not a big deal if Atro isn't available to commentate our match. Plus that's one less streamer to commentate on me getting summarily trounced lol
