Welcome to the CSCA OE "Ides of March" Arena, our team's PRIZE and STREAMER PRIZE Bullet2 tournament for March 2024 with a total PRIZE FUND of $600!!!

Entry is FREE and open to all in 4 sections: Open, U2201, U1801, and U1301 (please see RESTRICTIONS for “Under” sections below). Prize fund distribution is as follows:

PLAYERS: $500 Total Prize Fund
Open, total $325: $150-75-40-25-15-10-10.
U2201, total $100: $40-30-20-10
U1801, total $50: $25-15-10
U1301, total $25: $15-10

STREAMERS: $100 Total Prize Fund
$70 ($25-20-15-10) to the Top 4 STREAMERS in the Open Section.
$30 (20-10) to the Top 2 STREAMERS in any of the Under Sections.
Open Section Streamers’ scores will be calculated by the formula of [points/rating x 100]. For example: A streamer rated 2000 and scoring 250 points in the event would have a final prize score of 250/2000 x 100 or 12.5.) Under Sections Streamers’ scores will be their earned points without adjustments.

To be ELIGIBLE for Streamers Competition, streamers MUST (a) be established streamers prior to March 1, 2024 (sorry, but new streamers are NOT eligible), (b) ENTER the streamers competition by providing the link to their stream to @AQL547 via Lichess message AHEAD of event start, (c) play and stream throughout the entirety of the event, (d) engage in a bona fide (real) stream broadcast for purpose of maximizing viewers, AND (e) play and stream fairly and in accordance with CSCA OE Team, Lichess and event rules.

RESTRICTIONS: “Under” sections are intended only for players whose actual demonstrated play strength is below the section rating limit. Lowering your rating below your actual play strength or opening a new account to falsely demonstrate a lower play strength, to enter a rating-limited section, is cheating. Players exhibiting indicators of violating this rule may be rendered “prize ineligible” at any time at the organizer’s discretion and regardless of Lichess fair play determination.

Please review our TEAM PAGE for Lichess FairPlay review and PRIZE payment information. Players found in violation of event, CSCA OE Team or Lichess rules or acting/participating in bad faith will be disqualified and deemed prize ineligible.

NOTICE TO PLAYERS INTENDING TO USE EXTERNAL ASSISTANCE: This tournament is intended only for honest players interested in competing with other honest players--not computers or other helpers. Please know that games will be very carefully scrutinized for engine and other assistance use, both via computerized and manual methods by Lichess and the organizer. There are many factors that indicate assistance, too many to avoid, and you will be caught, and you will be banned! Unfortunately, your inevitable ban will not come soon enough to prevent you from spoiling the event for honest participants. Therefore, instead of wasting your time and ours, please have some respect for the game, the players and yourself, and go away and do not play here!

If players are disqualified, the organizer may make any logical adjustment to the event, necessary to determine its winner, including reassignment of points or partial points by forfeit, holding a playoff invitational on a later date, replaying the event entirely, or other method. Accordingly, to maximize your chances, regardless of occurrences of dishonesty, it is strongly suggested to all honest players to arrive on time and complete the event.
