I noticed that one of my biggest problems is not taking enough time to think before I move. I think it is just part of my temperament. I am impatient and rush to attempt to finish the game as quickly as possible. However, I think my chess coach will help me learn not to rush and help me learn how to take more time to think about which move is the best to make when playing my opponents. I am obsessed with improving my chess skills, so I think having the motivation will help me greatly. I know I will never be a great chess player, but maybe I can be better at chess over time.

Yes! Time can be a real killer. I like that Ben Finegold quote about "playing like you don't want the game to end."
