It's not safe to predict with so much reliance on historical facts that go nothing beyond mere correlation. After all history were all written first to make those correlations start to exist.
Especially women's candidates has limited historical records. For example for the open's I think it's 100% safe to say Sindarov cannot win it cause someone who's never ever been top 10 winning it is a disrespect for the chess world, but I would not say the same on Vaishali cause we have not fully discovered what the women's field can tolerant.

Given the confidence with which predictions were made, I hope that halfway or so through the event we will hear about whether said confidence was justified.
I see that a player is by far the rating favorite, and still: in one-on-one matches, selection of openings or other factors may be more important than rating, for players within 200 rating points of each other.
