I miss the most important tip which unfortunately many people are committing a crime against: arrive to the game on time.
It always amazes me how even very strong people neglect this very primitive rule.
Coincidence or not but I published only a few hours after your post something about this subject on my blog: http://schaken-brabo.blogspot.com/2023/04/default-tijd.html
You give some general remarks about time-management but it is possible also to look at it from a pure statistical view. I wrote a week ago an article about it see http://schaken-brabo.blogspot.com/2023/03/extra-tijd-deel-2.html
I believe that some "discoveries" can be very interesting material for any serious chessplayer.

Great post! Yes, my posts are general and not statistical, I like how you get down to the nitty gritty with your analyses. Might share your blogs on my English and Japanese Twitter so others can also peruse your posts—didn't know the blogspot Google Translate function can cater to so many languages.
