How to improve in chess- for beginners through intermediate!

Nice job like it. But 1 thing is that not all kids rush. I am 10 yrs old and I am 2200. Some of my games are like 5hrs and 30 mins. I normally think too long and get into time pressure, but I have solved that issue. very good post I like it

Wow, 2200 rating at age 10? I'm impressed. You are definitely the exception not rushing. If you don't mind me asking, why do you think the majority of kids rush? Do they think if they win first they're better than anyone else?

Thank you! No i dont think thats the reason. I think its just that most people just cant focus for so long. Sometimes I think for 20 mins on 1 move. Some kids just feel like ok this taking too long this should be fine. A lot of people don't want to calculate the whole thing. I used to finish my games really quick when I started, but when my teacher told me to think longer and calculate, I liked doing it. I started chess at 7.

Thanks for your input. You've only been playing chess for 3 years and you're at 2200 at age 10? As I said, Impressive. I hope you achieve all of your goals. Thanks again.

Great info on blunders. How did you generate the spreadsheet? I need something like that to analyze my games.
