Or, mayhaps just don't get angry? I understand this may sound dumb, but once you've lost enough games, there is no point to "rage". It's just a game, getting angry won't help. It won't make you get better, it won't make you win the match. Practice makes better, anger is a way to vent frustrations, but you could also vent frustrations by studying the position. Where did you go wrong, what MADE you made in the first place? Time? Force yourself to move faster, (if bullet). A mistake in a position? Memorize the position more. Improve, and you will get angry less. Maybe this helps someone...idk.

This article can be summarized as " If you tilt then a)take a short break b)hit something and c)don't tilt. While this is not wrong per se and may be helpful to some, this cavalier treatment of a player's emotional turmoil does not remotely do the topic and its complexity any justice. The topic tilt has been a bane for many poker players and been extensively covered by many (poker) authors and I'd suggest chess players suffering from tilt to look into the poker literature. I'll throw my suggestion"The Mental Game of Poker" by Jared Tendler in the ring...
