A serious opening finally :D
yesssssssssssssss
This incredible work. I've never played this opening but I feel familiar with the basics now. I've always wanted to play, now I have the fundamentals
Great post !!!
There are quick finishes even in the exchange or delayed exchange variations.

I'm glad that this has helped :D just remember to make sure that you can squeeze your opponent our of the game to win! But if you settle for a draw, still consider it a win (although Mikhail Tal won't approve, but I mean, are we Mikhail Tal?). Enjoy your games!!!

From what I see, the first game had Liren to resign since Giri was already going to force eventual checkmate (especially after 23. Ne4!! ignoring the threat on the bishop). The last two games, it seems, was just resignation out of material inferiority and a terrible position (to begin with). If I were to pick a game to use for the blog, I would pick the game between Ding Liren and Anish Giri.
Note: This isn't Season 2 of the Daily Gambit. Season two will start on an unannounced date!
This is the advanced Ruy Lopez:

This is the advanced Ruy Lopez:
- e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 a6 4. Ba4 Nf6 5. O-O Nxe4 6. d4 exd4 7. Re1 d5 8. Nxd4 Bd6 9. Nxc6 Bxh2+ 10. Kh1 Qh4 11. Rxe4+ dxe4 12. Qd8+ Qxd8 13. Nxd8+ Kxd8. Now the advantage is +1.2 to +1.4
Advantage is high but your opponent won't follow the script:
