I read both your nice tournament blogs and I notice in both you mention fair play regulations aren't followed properly.
Do you think cheating happens in those tournaments?

Magnus recently stated in an interview that fair play regulations are totally inadequate in open tournaments. Do you know open tournaments which do apply proper fair play regulations?

From experience I think that most tournaments lack resources (people and money) to apply proper fair play regulations. I also think that cheating is very rare in such tournaments. People playing much better than normal are noticed quickly.
