Why, because I win at slower games when I play them, even though all I play is bullet? With time on my clock because other players move so slow but still blunder?

"Slower players" are all much weaker. You were playing much weaker opponents. And you are advocating that you don't need to study to have any improvement. And you are correct. But with study, you can improve much faster and much more efficiently.

This is wrong: if I had to "study" chess, I wouldn't play chess at all. I don't find analysis, study, puzzles, etc. fun and the absolute worst thing for me is reading books, especially those about chess and by people who cannot teach.

This is only to you. Not ANY titled player in their right mind would say that studying wouldn't bolster your skill much more quickly than just playing chess repeatedly.

I really can't speak for other people and my blog post is simply about how you can improve using bullet. I'm not going to claim for other people that using other methods can't work for them. I'm only refuting the idea that you cannot improve using bullet because that's objectively false.

You can of course improve by playing chess, any type of chess. But studying for chess will hasten your improvement and progress.
