When I was writing this blog, I spent a plenty of time on it and hoped that it would get more attention, but I initially put it to the off-topic section, so it was not displayed on the main blog page for the first two days. Or maybe it was just poorly timed or there were many other interesting blogs at that time (Grand Swiss was played then) or a majority of viewers had other tastes, who knows.
As for the Horse (an above-mentioned chess variant) with 14 horseys, it could be fun. The chances of both sides look approximately balanced to me, contrary to many other variants. That said, in Horde both White's and Black's victories might look brilliant, whereas in Horse Black's victories mostly look too prosaic (simply taking the remaining knights), if I am allowed to make such a guess based on almost no data.
