Interesting summarize, but for me an link to a game for the 7th example would be helpful. And btw (because you extensively refer to copyright for the pictures) your first picture seems to show (if I shoud be wrong, please apologize) a wrong starting position for a real chess game (white Queen on black d-square).
But there is 10th. And it's crazy. Be ready.
DRAW BY RESIGNING!!!
If your opponent theoretically has no possuble variants of checkmating you, and you for any weird reason decide to resign, the game will end in a draw.
I'll prove this is real. FIDE rule says:
5.1.2. The game is lost by the player who declares he/she resigns (this immediately ends the game), unless the position is such that the opponent cannot checkmate the player's king by any possible series of legal moves. In this case the result of the game is a draw.
Great summary! What about knight-knight-king vs king as drawn for insufficient material? No way to force mate.
Nice summary of those half point options.
The games you quoted as examples, would have been more useful if you had a link to a .pgn of the games on line.
