Calculating your conversion rate

Free software is so democratic... anyone can modify and redistribute it to their own creative aims.

Even so, I wonder how this compares with built-in "Chess Insights > Opportunism" etc. and how best to learn from one's games...

Yo, I just found out about the LiChess Tools, awesome work!

My conversion rates seem to be 95% for white and 96.3% for black, but as you mentioned in the post, it might be biased and not all games have computer analysis (I do request it for most though).

@Toadofsky I am also interested in as many metrics as possible. Whenever you have any ideas, let me know. However, in this case and in the Insights page there is a lot of statistics applied on database games, to which I don't have direct access. A user stats API sounds cool, if I think about it, but I doubt Lichess would go for it.

@Metagross31 thanks a lot! I am available for any feedback and new ideas.

My conversion rate and that of the other person were also around 95%. Perhaps the way to think about it is what does it mean for a game to NOT be converted? Follow the same steps, but after you select the games you won, go to "Cut" and use "Result" as the query. Analyse what is left manually and see what went wrong. I feel that's a wonderful tool for improvement!!

Hello. Thanks for your explanation. But for me there is no pgn editor option. Do you know where the problem is?

@Attacker1386 have you installed LiChess Tools? (https://siderite.dev/blog/new-chrome-extension-lichess-tools/)
And is PGN Editor enabled for you? (https://siderite.dev/blog/lichess-tools---user-manual/#pgnEditor)

Is this fair?

I am not sure I understand what you mean. Does this confer you any advantage during playing that might be construed as cheating? No.

This is a very interesting topic. 98.5% conversion for white and 98.8% for black. I do try to analyze both my wins and my losses but there must be some bias in the data anyway.
