BrewChess- New variant idea

Inspiration

I was playing spell chess on chess.com, when I realized this. Spell Chess was a really cool chess variant, and even people who are not good at chess could play it and be good at that variant. So that got me thinking, could I make chess about strategy, but in a different way like all these other variants do?

Most of us play or have played Minecraft. Potions are one of my favorite parts of that game. But why am I talking about Minecraft?

BrewChess, the variant I created, is kind of like Minecraft potions, except different, and my inspiration for this variant? Minecraft Potions.

Special Rules

I: The game ends when one side captures all enemy pieces. The result (win) goes to the side that captured all enemy pieces first.
Ia: The king must still move, block, or capture when in check, but when the king has no legal moves, it can allow itself to be captured by the attacking enemy piece. If the enemy can take the king, they have to take the king, even if their king is in check.

II: The piece values are as shown below:
Pawn- 1 point
Knight- 3 points
Bishop- 3 4 points
Rook-5 points
Queen- 9 15 points
King: Infinite 450 points

III: You may, upon reaching the 8th or 1st rank with a pawn, choose to convert it into a Queen, Rook, Knight, Bishop, or King

How to play

Board is set up normally.
Pieces move normally.
But...
When you capture a piece, keep track of how many points you earn (taking a knight would mean +3pts for you)
Writing it next to notation would be helpful (Ex: Nxe4+1), and then 2 moves later, taking a bishop means Bxg7+5, because adding the bishop value (4) to the +1, making 4+1=5.

Why would you want to keep track of points???

Using points, you can buy potions.

This is a list of all potions you can buy and how many points they cost:

Potion of Knightly Knights: 3pts (Meaning you can spend three points to get this potion)
Potion of Bombing Bishops: 3pts (Spending 3 points should be added to your notation. Ex: b4-3)
Potion of Raging Rooks: 5pts
Potion of Qualified Queens: 15pts
Potion of Explosive Kings: 450pts
Potion of Radiating Rankwipe: 25pts
Potion of Flaming Filewipe: 30pts
Potion of 8 squares: 50pts
Potion of Ended Endgame: 475pts
Timely Teleportation Potion: 2pts
Productive Pawn Potion: 1pt

Extend the effect of any of the first 4 potions by 1 move: 1pt/move.

Also make sure to keep track of your opponents points on the back of your paper, to make sure he/she/it doesn't cheat.

What each potion does

This may seem like a complicated game, but you can learn it just as easily as chess!
Each potion effect lasts ONE move, and you must follow the rules of that potion. Potion can be extended for 1 point.

Potion of Knightly Knights: Allows the piece of choice to move like a knight.

Potion of Bombing Bishops: Allows the piece of choice to move like a bishop.

Potion of Raging Rooks: Allows the piece of choice to move like a Rook.

Potion of Qualified Queens: Allows the piece of choice to move like a Queen.

Potion of Explosive Kings: Pick a square on the board. All enemy pieces in a 3 square radius are captured, and create a chain 'explosion', with any enemy piece in their three square radius are exploded, and so on. CANNOT BE EXTENDED

Potion of Radiating Rankwipe: Choose a rank. All enemy pieces on that rank are captured. CANNOT BE EXTENDED OR USED MORE THAN TWICE

Potion of Flaming Filewipe: Choose a file. All enemy pieces on that file are captured. CANNOT BE EXTENDED OR USED MORE THAN TWICE.

Potion of 8 squares: Choose 8 squares on the board. Any pieces on those 8 squares are captured, and friendly pieces captured are given to the opponent, who does not gain any points. CANNOT BE EXTENDED OR USED MORE THAN TWICE ONCE

Potion of Ended Endgame: All your opponent's pieces are captured. Congratulations, you won!!! CANNOT BE EXTENDED

Timely Teleportation Potion: Choose any piece you have and any unoccupied square to place it on. Can be used on the King as well, as long as no piece is attacking that square.
