Hi Guys!
(This is a write-up in relation to Online Chess)
Nearly a month back, I managed to achieve 1501 Classical Rating. Having reached my goal, I decided to move to rapid. I managed to boost to the 1400s, but there I began to struggle. I realised that since there are more rapid players out there than classical, it will be tougher to achieve a higher rating. By some miracle I reached 1425, after several ups and downs, before dropping down in rating. Where I blundered. Foolishly. I guess I got unnecessarily stressed, which happens regularly.

So what do you do in these cases? You keep trying, you take longer rests to rejuvenate, and you will reach success. That is something you have heard from every player around you. However, in my opinion, the only thing you need to do is scold the anxious little voice in your head for making you jittery and blunderful. Just tell it to be quiet and let you focus on the game.

Most people believe that chess is a mind-numbing game of analytical thinking. That is true, but chess is also a game where you can play calmly, whether you have experience or not, and have a high chance of winning, as long as you are clear with your fundamentals.

Just remember this quote, "Practice like you've never won, Perform like you've never lost."
Who said this? MICHAEL JORDAN.

Hope you enjoyed reading. (P.S. This sounds better conversational)
