Soaring September

ChessOff topic
It's time to put on a brave face and wear that hero cape...

Let's make this September one to remember.
The moment is ripe for you to strike, so let's get cracking and improving our game.

To play chess more productively, you need to set daily goals. My gameplay was to play Chess960, Anti-chess, Crazy-House and Classical games every day. Each day I needed to gain more points, and not less. With this aim in mind, I climbed up the ladder and in less than a month's time I reached 1601 in Classical. My variant ratings haven't improved significantly, but that is not of essence here.

Basically, you need to set two types of goals.
1. The type of games you're gonna play - Classical, rapid, blitz, bullet, chess960, crazyhouse, antichess, etc.
2. What is Your Aim for Each Game - Classical: 1600, Rapid: 1700, etc.

I followed my process and did my best, so in the end I only broke the rule I had set once, yesterday when in Anti-Chess I lost significant points and couldn't reach higher than I had achieved the day before.

Try what I did, but not exactly that. Make it apply to your own desires. If you have any questions, the forum is open. Do inform whether this method proved fruitful.

Until Next Time,
Chao!
