Sargon-1ply is a re-implementation of Dan and Kathe Spracklen's 1978 SARGON commercial chess engine. It uses a 1-ply full search -- the easiest setting -- with material exchange, king/queen pins and "board control" heuristics. Try also @sargon-2ply, @turochamp-1ply or @bernstein-2ply.
