The Psychology of Time Trouble

THANKS FOR THE SUMMARY ALSO I WANTED TO ASK IF WHETHER THERE IS ALSO SOME TIPSFOR MAINTAININ TIME FROM STARTING SO THAT WE DONT GET IN TIME TROUBLE AND AVOID IT..

My advice for that is divide your starting time by 40, then that's how long you're supposed to spend per move on average.
Fischer used to get 15 minutes up on the clock in the opening, then keep a slight edge throughout the game.

Hope that helps!

oh ty for this advice just confused that by dividing by 40 u are reccomending for time control with added time on 40 move or it can be used for normal tme control such as 90+30
