I remember the very first game I played... my opponent ran out of time and I didn't even notice that until he pointed it out and I still don't know how much time had passed for me to realize he ran out of time . I didn't realize I was shaking but even with it's bitter moments, stressful moments and everything I enjoyed every single moment because I knew the time would pass so quickly and everything would be memories that I won't forget even after years. For 5 years I've always had dreamed joining Amsterdam event and I still can't believe it has come true, thank you all for everything ️
Weird that I just dropped down 3 places after leaving the tournament XD.
It was still an amazing event, thank you for voting my game to the community cup!
Sadly I cannot participate due my school holidays ends one week earlier.

Richard you're one of the greatest antichess players of all time, not for your skill, but for your sheer determination and contribution to the community. I'd like to thank you for hosting these every year.
It was also a great opportunity to decide the best game of the tournament and I feel very grateful for the opportunity. It makes me feel a part of the event even when I'm about 10k km away lol :)
And once again, congrats to the beast preslav. Always showing why he's the best. You would think, "it's finally this time, preslav ain't gonna win this" and he pulls the most exceptional comeback oat.

Just to be nitpicky: in my game against maxime there was nothing to convert, it was a win straight out of the opening :D great blog and fantastic tournament nonetheless, thank you for everything :)
