The French Defense isn't playable

Well, the French Defense is playable. I feel that misleading people like this for advertisement isn't anywhere near good. Also, the French is perfectly playable at high levels. Such as when Ding played it in the world championship against Gukesh.

You didn't read the article nor look at the video which analysis the french AND the el famoso game from Ding vs Gukesh.

Is this still going? The title is misleading and he calls himself a theoretician. If French defense is not playable then how about Dutch defense? birds opening? every unorthodox opening that will be played in master level is by definition the "true" isn't playable and some openings out there are really refuted and yet French defense is not playable?

A very insulting to the French Defense. That opening is way older than you. And used a lot and the perfect practice opening in the endgame. The opening is a pure theory in itself. The same goes for London.

I still do not get the main point of this post. CM's are like the kids who wants attention to their parents but in the chess world.. only the top GM's are the guys that is valid to claim such opinion like French Defense is not playable.
