For some reason, I feel that I perform much better in OTB tournaments than online. Perhaps it's because I practice more in this kind of play due to going to a chess school, or the environment makes me more put together. I have the opposite situation
Great post! I have one question,in post saying that I should play with a partner over the board, if partner much weaker is it still alright for me to play against him or no?

Thanks! If the strength difference in too big, may be you can have time odds (mimicking the time trouble situation) or defend from a worse position (this also happens all the time in the games as well.)

It can indeed happen to some players :), but most players face the opposite situation than you so I decided to write a blog on that. I think consistent online games with a bit more focus on simple tactics (it's about speed along with accuracy in online games).
