i also added something in the caro-kann part and in the 1... e5 part.
- e5 is overrated. Do u think so?
yes, surely enough...
So how will you respond after 1. e4?
i like playing the modern defense and the sicilian defense

"Petrov"
- That line is playable. The main line Petrov is now played more than 2...Nc6 at top GM level.
"I prefer c6 or g6"
- 1...e5 > 1...c5 > 1...e6 > 1...c6 > 1...g6
"1...e5 is overrated"
- It is objectively the strongest response. It is most played at top GM level.
"i now recommend the alapin"
- Sveshnikov recommended it too, but Fischer played 2 Nf3 and in 1992 2 Nc3.

@tpr 1. e5 is overrated...
Ruy Lopez, Italian or even Ponziani is strong... They always think that it's the best.

* Ponziani is more surprising than strong.
Ruy Lopez is OK for black:

i think ponziani lets black equalize or even be slightly better.
because even though the most common move is Nf6, some people also play the move d5.
it is one of the most common moves, and after 3... d5 4. Qa4, black plays 4... f6 and has a good game ahead.
i actually made a decision between ruy lopez or ponziani, but i do not think ponziani is a serious opening if your opponent knows how to play against it...

It is a good blog and study.
Fischer was adamant about the Ruy Lopez being best, but apart from Ba4 he also captured Bxc6.
Against the Sicilian he was fond of Bc4, but later played h3.
Fischer considered the French Winawer anti-positional. Against the classical French he did not play the Alekhine-Chatard, but he captured Bxe7.
Fischer struggled against the Caro-Kann and tried different variations, but last against Petrosian played the Exchange Variation, as you say.
Fischer didn't struggle against the Caro-Kann Defense.
He uses the Panov Attack.

* No. He played the Two Knights Variation, the Panov Attack, the King's Indian Attack, the Classical Variation, and at last the Exchange Variation.
