I still find najdorf too hard to digest and i don't like the idea of playing something purely on intuition

It is a little like driving downhill blindfolded with no brakes. The thing is: your opponent has the same problem.

But white is a bit easier to play because of space. For example the English attack. There white is okay but it's black who needs to find the right continuation. In the dragon the attacking themes are easier, but there's less room for error because the positions are more clear for white. Here it's more unclear

You really think so? After Ng4 I very much prefer playing black (if I could make that choice in OTB classical).

Now that is very much playable for both sides. But saying it is easier for white is just... wrong I think. Heck, many white players hate that line so much that they play Bc1 back, or start out with f3 instead of Be3 to begin with.

Yes but that's anti English. It's playable for both sides but it's black who needs to know more. For example,white players can just have a single weapon against it while the black players need to know 7 different lines
