Congrats! 2000 is a wall i've been trying to breach for a while. Nice post! How old are you, just curious.

Only 14 so I'm sure neuroplasticity helped me out some, but I think pretty much anyone can do this with the correct training and effort.

Let me tell you man, I have sensed every bit of your expression in this blog. The experience you have led us through this blog, I commend you. First of all, great job with your progress to 2000, it's not that easy but you did it and I will be looking forward to using your tips. It took me a while to get here compared to you but again, congrats bro. (P.S. you make a good blogger too so keep it up)

I appreciate it man, thanks

what about 560 likes!!!!
gonna be doing it every two days now??

That wouldn't be practical for you or me lol, I wouldn't have enough content every 2 days to make it remotely interesting for all of you guys.

I did it faster than you on my other account for rapid, from 1000 to 2000 in a year. The only thing I did was play, I just stuck with a few openings and never studied them. The only thing I would do (because I liked it) was chess tactics. But I would recommend everyone to just play the format they enjoy and nothing more! Otherwise your rating becomes too important and chess will become frustrating and obsessive. Dont focus on openings, setting goals etc, just keep the enjoyment flowing, that is how I did it.

That account was from 1300 to 2000 in 17 months, a very impressive achievement, and something else people can look to as proof that i'm not just a fluke lucky person, thanks for sharing, it may not have been faster than me, but it is still incredibly fast and again shows people that they can do what we did also.

Edit: it actually was 1150 to 2000 I looked at it wrong, even more impressive.
